We are looking for a
Certified
Construction Inspecto
r for the Lafayettearea to join our team. The right candidate will have a background in the field, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety. The Construction Inspector is to monitor daily on-site quality assurance, construction progress and prepare daily quality assurance reports to streets, highways, bridge, drainage and other utilities projects.
Responsibilities:
- High School diploma with 10+ years experience in Structural Concrete construction projects
- LADOTD certifications Structural Concrete required.Additional certifications a plus.
- Out of State DOTD Certifications could be acceptable to LADOTD)
- Computer skills include Microsoft Office Software including MS Word and MS Excel
- Work with architects, contractors, and engineers on a daily basis.
- Communication Skills both oral and written in English
- Ability to read and comprehend civil engineering drawings and specifications
