Job Description The Operations Quality Control Specialist role is responsible for quality control testing of first-line operational controls in line with organizational risk framework as well as specific business line risk management designations. Responsibilities include control testing execution as well as providing real-time feedback for any necessary testing updates based on changes to regulations, policy, or business changes. Individuals who perform this role will be responsible for ensuring testing is completed in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with organizational expectations. Candidates will demonstrate strong critical thinking and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to challenge and ask questions, and an ability to multi-task, plan and function in a self-directed environment. Essential Functions: Performs QC activities including control testing and capturing testing results within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards. Provides administrative support by retrieving documentation necessary for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and testing reviews under direction of a Senior, Lead or Manager position. Maintains clear, easy-to-follow documentation of testing performed as well as results identified. Stays current on applicable information relevant to the position, including but not limited to: credit policy, secondary market, regulatory compliance, or risk environment changes. Assumes positive intent and applies a solution driven approach in all communication and collaboration efforts. Completes annual compliance training as assigned. Qualifications: Combination of education and work experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma and 2 to 3 years' work experience in business line operations or risk management. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with internal and external customers Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers #LI-hybrid, #LI-JT1 Pay Range Pay Type: Non-Exempt/Hourly Minimum: $ 16.63 Midpoint: $ 23.77 Maximum: $ 30.87 The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, time-off, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
