Embark Behavioral Health PRN LPN in Lake Ozark, Missouri

PRN Licensed Practical Nurse

Pay: $30 to $33 per hour, based on experience

Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri

Shift Options:

  • Weekday shift options: Choose between 7:00am to 7:00pm or 7:00pm to 7:00am, as needed.
  • Weekends off!

Calo Programs{target="_blank" rel="noopener"} in Lake Ozark, MO is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to provide exceptional care to our students!

At our long-term residential center, you'll be the compassionate first responder when a teen reports pain or sickness, assessing their needs and determining the best care plan. Your day will include checking vital signs, distributing medications, and keeping meticulous records. Whether accompanying a student to the clinic, communicating with parents, or coordinating lab draws, you'll be their advocate, creating a safe and healing environment. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in their lives and to create joy and heal generations.

Responsibilities:

  • Active LPN licensure in Missouri.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in pediatric care preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record; Minimum age of 21.
  • Proficiency with nursing tools and equipment, vital sign monitoring, and basic computer skills.
  • Experience with adolescents is a plus but not required;strong interpersonal skillsare essential.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as an RN or LPN in Missouri
  • CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, techniques, and legal charting
  • Experience in medication administration and using nursing tools
  • Ability to check vital signs and communicate medical situations accurately to students, parents, and co-workers
  • Experience with health insurance submission processes and word processing software
