Post Consumer Brands is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Intern for a 12-week summer 2025 immersive & transformative internship experience. JOB FUNCTION Business System Analysts are experts in both our business and the technology that supports our business. Their goal is to improve the quality of IT services provided to the business through the design and documentation of requirements, leverage of native system functionality, and simplification of overall processes and solutions. Business System Analysts are part of a team of technical architects, developers, designers, and other team members. As a BSA intern, you will learn how to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and identify areas where technology can be leveraged to optimize business processes. After researching technology solutions, you would provide recommendations, detailed specifications and a project plan. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES / DUTIES The BSA Intern may assist in a number of project and/or operations support roles. Assignments may include work such as: Gathering Requirements: Collecting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies Developing Documentation: Writing business and technical documentation, including proess flow diagrams and user manuals Testing Solutions: Assisting in the testing and implementation of technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements Troubleshooting: Working with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications or systems Creating Reports: Developing reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance Supporting Business Processes: Assisting in the development and improvement of business processes Training: Provide training to support end-users, including developing training materials and conducting training sessions. Assist the business partners in creating and reviewing training materials to ensure alignment with business processes and system configuration. Specific project and operational roles will be identified 30-60 days prior to the start of the internship, based on business need and intern interests. Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree or at an institution with an accredited program in Computer Science or Information Systems, with a graduation date in 2025. Experience working with SaaS packages and cloud-based systems A high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology as a decision-support tool Proven leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in teams Strong written and oral communication skills The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative to identify areas of opportunity and take action Ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives, identify deviations from the plan, and facilitate resolution Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization Previous internship or work experience (strongly preferred) Interest in the consumer packaged goods / manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred) We are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future Additional Program Information & Perks Offering competitive compensation Access to a dynamic internship event program including development, networking, & social activities Eligible for subsidized housing & $2,500 relocation stipend Cereal galore – enjoy a variety of cereal and oatmeal options in our break room, for free.
