Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Post Consumer Brands is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Consumer Insights Intern to join our team. This opportunity is a 12-week summer 2025 immersive & transformative internship experience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research and data analysis, contributing to our understanding of consumer behavior and market trends. JOB FUNCTION The Consumer Insights Intern may assist in various projects and/or operations within the Pet and Grocery marketing departments. Key Responsibilities: Market Research: Assist in designing surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather data on consumer preferences and behaviors. Data Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to internal stakeholders, including the Chief Marketing Officer. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, category, product development, and other teams to apply consumer insights to business strategies. Project Management: Support the planning and execution of various research projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide relevant insights and recommendations. Specific project and operational roles will be identified 30-60 days prior to the start of the internship, based on business needs and intern interests. Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a graduate degree in Marketing or Marketing Research at an institution with an accredited program, graduating in December 2025 or May 2026 (Preference will be given to candidates pursuing Marketing Research) Proven leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are a must Demonstrates a high level of competence in computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, Excel, etc.) with the ability to use technology as a decision-support tool Has the ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives Handles confidential information and uses discretion within and outside of the organization Has previous internship or work experience (strongly preferred) Has an Interest in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry (pet and grocery) with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred) Please note: We are unable to proceed with candidates who require Visa sponsorship now or in the future Additional Program Information & Perks Offering competitive compensation Access to a dynamic internship event program including development, networking, & social activities Eligible for subsidized housing & $2,500 relocation stipend Free cereal – enjoy a variety of cereal and oatmeal options in our break room, for free.
