Responsibilities The SaaS Master Data Management (MDM) Tool Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the cloud-based MDM system. This role ensures that the SaaS MDM tools are running efficiently and securely, supporting the organization's data management and governance initiatives. JOB ACTIVITIES/DUTIES Work with stakeholders in gathering the Match & Merge rules, developing & configuring trust matrix, match path, match columns, match rules (Exact and Fuzzy), and data stewardship workflows. Design, develop, and implement architecture for MDM as an enterprise solution. Develop and execute data profiling, data quality analysis and capture results for requirement/user story sessions recommendations and plan, Data Model, Data Dictionary, and Current to Future State Data Map Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades. Propose and institutionalize principles of MDM data model lifecycle management that will ensure the best standards for data quality management. Assess the current state of data control processes for specific data domains or elements. Creates edits and manages data for our business partners (internal as well as customers & suppliers) within system master data applications. Capture key business data rules within business systems and monitor those business rules. Monitor and track ongoing data quality levels on a regular basis. Identify and provide optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues. Support Data Owners with resolution of data quality issues. Publicize success to further engage individuals at all levels of the organization Work within and beyond immediate area to implement data improvement approaches. Actively participate in the design and deployment of applications, data integration, and data & analytics. Work with cross functional business partners in marketing, operations, information technology, procurement, supply chain, sales, finance and quality to develop, manage and implement a priority list of all the key projects. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity. Ensure that the SaaS MDM system comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies. May be required to provide on-call support to resolve production problems related to data set up by using email or IM, SMS messages or other cell phone communication. Is expected to be on-call for a fair and reasonable number of hours. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related degrees Experience : 3+ years of technical experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Javascript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux and Web Services. 3+ years of hands-on experience with a SaaS MDM solution, including configuration, development, architectural design, and integration. Experience with Stibo MDM solution preferred. Proven ability to configure SaaS MDM solutions, including attribute creation, business rule creation, portal development, and workflow creation. In-depth understanding of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL) with the ability to write and review complex operational queries. Solid knowledge of API RESTful services. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Process management, data management, and taxonomy expertise. Ability to lead and execute on simultaneous projects and drive for results and be able to prioritize projects. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment across multiple functional groups Experience in Consumer Product Goods company preferred.
