TEKsystems Field Technician in Lakeway, Texas




Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of technical experience

  • Break-Fix Desktop/Laptop support

  • Troubleshooting

  • Software installation

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical support for client equipment (Laptops/Desktops/Printers/Mobile devices and Software)

  • Receive and address alerts from Client’s paging systems

  • Incident and problem determination and resolution

  • Break-Fix

  • Laptop/Desktop reimaging

  • Refresh applicable equipment in accordance with the client technology refresh plan

  • Maintain and repair equipment and software so that it operates in accordance with the Service Levels and Specifications:

  • maintaining equipment in good operating condition, subject to normal wear and tear

  • undertaking repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with the applicable equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and requirements

  • perform software maintenance in accordance with the applicable software provider’s documentation, recommendations, and requirements.

  • Follow Client’s Asset recovery process as specified in the Policies and Procedures Manual, which includes tracking equipment, preparing equipment for shipping and coordination with Third Parties

  • Assist End User Computing team and Asset Management team with updating the inventory of End User Computing Devices, Voice Devices, Mobile Data Communications System/Network Infrastructure Servers
