Actalent Senior Engineering Manager in Lakewood, Colorado
Engineering Manufacturer is seeking a Engineering Manager to lead their current engineering and mechanical / product team. Leadership and technical hands on experience is required. ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex design of industrial, sheet metal and automation products.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years’ experience working and leading teams in a fast-paced high-volume engineering Manufacturing Environment
Expierence as a Mechanical Engineer working within design
Ability to work as part of a team. Management skills. Problem/situation analysis. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Analytical thinking skills.
Ability to coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet production quality and quantity metrics
In–depth knowledge of the production process and the tools and equipment used in the process
Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production levels within tight time deadlines and in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment
Strong background in collaboration with engineering
Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
