Position Summary:
The role of the EngineeringAdmin Assistant IIIis to support Western Area Power Administration, located inLakewood, CO.
Responsibilities may include:
Screen telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence.
Personally respond to requests for information concerning office procedures; determine which requests should be handled by the supervisor, appropriate staff member or other offices.
Track all valid work orders within ATAAPS, serve as the ATAAPS timekeeper and liaison for payroll for Office of Design and Engineering.
Collect information from the files or staff for routine inquiries on office programs or periodic reports and refer non-routine requests to supervisor or staff.
Explain to subordinate staff supervisor’s requirements concerning office procedures, coordinate personnel and administrative forms for the office and forwards for processing.
Handles and safeguards drawings or documentation containing “For Official Use Only”.
Sets up all travel in Concur for about 60-engineers, as well as providing proper training for the system.
Review, revise, and compile project construction specifications and procurement equipment solicitations.
Distribute and track contract submittals through the Office of Design and Engineering.
Provide clerical support.
Back-up and assist OCOO administrative support in their absence.
Review, revise, and compile standards, guides, manuals, and orders.
Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s DegreeOR equivalent experience of at least 3 years.
Must be willing to participate in federal background investigation and drug test.
Transparent communicator with superior written and oral communication skills
