Overview Grow in your career at the Westin Cleveland Downtown! New Restaurant Opening, "Masa & Agave" - Training begins July 11th for an opening date of July 18th. Join our team as our owners bring this exciting concept to downtown Cleveland. Serve guests with exceptional hospitality, anticipating guest needs and creating a memorable dining experience for both our hotel guests and those joining us from our community. Responsibilities Greet our guests with a warm welcome. Recognize and celebrate special occassions. Prepare and serve drinks to guests according to HEI Hotels and Resorts service standards. Anticipate guest needs, providing a memorable and engaging restaurant experience. Ensure guest satisfaction and be empowered to ensure full satisfaction with the dining and visit. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift. Follow all cash handling and bank operating procedures. Perform all necessary side assigned work duties as required for the necessary conduct of operations. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Provide a fond farewell and thank our guests for their visit, encouraging them to come back again soon! Qualifications Prior restaurant or hospitality customer service experience preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons. Ability to use a point of service computer. Full knowledge of state liquor laws. Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift with or without reasonable accommodation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers,
