Provide primary care to specific residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on assessment, illness prevention and health care management. Assist in modifying treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of the state and the policies and goals of the facility.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of intended employment, and the minimum attainment of an associate's degree or equivalent (foreign degree accepted). Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.* *
