Job Title: Installation Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Truck Installation Technician 2 and play a pivotal role in installing specialty truck equipment such as dump bodies, crane bodies, bumper cranes, and more. With a pay rate of $22-25/hr for Tech 2 and a $1/hr increase upon contract completion, we offer a rewarding work environment. Typical shifts run from 5am-1:30pm, with occasional extended hours until 3:30pm and rare Saturday work. Under the guidance of the Shop Supervisor, you'll adhere to safety standards, maintain work area cleanliness, ensure quality of work, and handle various installation tasks. Training opportunities are available to further your skills and knowledge.
Hard Skills
Ability to read and apply work instructions
Use of tape measure and proper tools
Small hand tools proficiency
Basic electrical skills
Installation of bolt-on accessories
General mechanical experience
Install trailer plug wiring and Latch-Matic systems
Ability to build dump and platform units
Troubleshoot and install electric systems
Wire/install strobe lights
Light fabrication and welding
Install basic electric systems
Soft Skills
Aptitude to learn any build
Ability to train others
Commitment to safety procedures
Maintaining workplace organization (5S)

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Bowmansville, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
Manufacturing, fast-paced environment with seasonal ambient temperatures. Requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
