Description
We are in search of a Payroll / Accounting Clerk to join our client situated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The role involves a blend of both accounting and payroll duties, providing support within the finance and payroll departments. This is an entry-level role that offers room for growth and development within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable transactions and ensure they are completed accurately.
• Respond to vendor and invoice inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Perform general office and compliance duties, which may include copying, scanning, filing, and mailing.
• Enter and process payroll; Manage workflow to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
• Participate in prevailing wage training and development as directed.
• Maintain, coordinate, and analyze time and attendance records for accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
• Associates degree in accounting or related field and some related payroll or accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
