Robert Half Pricing Analyst in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Description
Pricing Analyst based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing activities related to product costing, manufacturing analysis, and cost center analysis. The role will also involve developing a standard cost system and providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Execute ongoing evaluation of products and production lines, developing an adaptable standard costing model.
• Regularly evaluate standard cost vs. actual cost for each cost center or product to ensure reasonable absorption rates.
• Research and document cost information to control expenditures on each production line.
• Assess changes in product design, material purchasing, and formulas to determine their impact on cost.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to determine mechanical needs and collect data on the operational cost of each production line.
• Optimize equipment layout and labor utilization in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Develop and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize utilization and operational efficiency.
• Conduct internal audits of the standard costing model to ensure the validity and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Complete pricing requests from the Sales team for new and existing products.
• Analyze the pricing structure and determine profitability.
• Conduct monthly sales analysis and audits reconciling billing to pricing.
• Refine and improve the current pricing system.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to determine effective pricing for company products.
Requirements
Pricing Analyst
• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques is essential
• Should have a background in Finance
• Understanding of Margins and their impact on business profitability is required
• Prior experience in Operations is a must
• Knowledge of Market Pricing strategies is necessary.
