Express is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for our Seasonal On-Call Snow Laborer and Equipment Operator positions. As part of our winter operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and accessible roadways, parking lots, and walkways during snow events.
For the Seasonal On-Call Snow Laborer role, responsibilities include assisting with snow shoveling and manual snow removal, clearing pathways, driveways, and parking lots to ensure safe access, and monitoring weather conditions to respond promptly to snow accumulation. You will need to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment while collaborating with team members and communicating effectively during operations.
The Equipment Operator position requires operating snow removal machinery such as plows, snow blowers, and other related equipment. You will perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on equipment, execute efficient snow removal strategies in various environments, and maintain communication with team leads to report any equipment issues. Adherence to safety regulations and protocols is essential at all times.
Candidates for both positions should be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina and strength are necessary to perform strenuous labor in cold conditions, along with strong teamwork and communication skills. For the Equipment Operator role, experience operating snow removal machines is required, as well as a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
