Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, St. Mary Physician's Group is looking for an NP to join our Hospitalist Group in Langhorne, PA. This position is night shift 40 hours per week with rotation.
Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, St. Mary Physician's Group is looking for an NP to join our Hospitalist Group in Langhorne, PA. This position is night shift 40 hours per week with rotation.
The NP will provide coordination, planning and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of adult patients. In this role, you will also develop treatment plans based on professional practice guidelines, diagnose health problems, manage acute and chronic illnesses as well as order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging. The NP will assume accountability for managing the delivery of patient care, act as a patient advocate and uphold patient's rights. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative team environment; and will be responsible for the admitting, daily follow up and discharging of patients, and consulting and referring to other Health Care professionals in our health system.
At times asked to perform as a preceptor to NP student.
Schedule is 40 hours/week working 7 PM - 7 AM with rotating weekends. Coverage is also provided by PRNs as needed to fill gaps.
Requirements:
Master's Degree required
2-4 Years of experience required
5-8 Years of experience preferred
Current PA Registered Nurse license required
PA N.P License required
National Certification as NP required
BLS required
Additional:
Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills
Ability and desire to be a team member of House NP group.
Ability and desire to be a resource to front line clinical nurses as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Possess thorough knowledge of growth and development
Two (2) years clinical experience in a licensed health care facility
