Hub International Administrator, Personal Insurance in Langley, British Columbia

What We’re Looking For

The Administrator for our Langley branch will be responsible to ensure a smooth administrative operation of the branch, providing support, including a wide range of administrative functions associated with operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience in an Administrator Role

  • Demonstrated skillset including attention to detail, time management and accounting principles

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Computer skills with knowledge in Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Outlook

  • Preferred experience with Autolink, EPIC and ICBC session manager

  • Level 1 General Insurance License preferred

A Day in the Life

  • Batching ICBC documents, reconciling transactions and payments, and depositing ICBC funds in compliance with rules and guidelines set out by ICBC

  • Liaising with ICBC and ICBC revenue banking as required

  • Maintaining inventory control, and completing regular spot audits

  • Maintaining ICBC supplies and inventory (including orders, returns and inventory control)

  • Responsible for banking and deposits

  • Performing quality checks on all documents

  • Diligence in the reconciliation, investigation and balancing of discrepancies

  • Correcting document and insurance errors and/or ensuring agent makes correction in a timely manner

  • Oversight of all administrative functions to ensure quality of work and compliance, report all discrepancies to management.

  • Ensure compliance with all insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations

  • Office support with telephone answering, greeting and other functions as needed

  • Management support with payroll, scheduling and reporting functions

  • EPIC processing and administration, as required

  • Committed to remaining connected to HUB International in the bigger picture and understanding the mission, values and goals of HUB

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
