Peckham, Inc. - Application Administrator - Corporate Applications
SUMMARY
The Application Administrator - Corporate Applications provides technical operational management of applications which support Peckham’s corporate operations. This position works directly with the Peckham IT departmental staff and end-users to assist with Line-of-Business application issues and ensure corporate policies and customer requirements are met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer Peckham’s mission critical corporate applications and systems including but not limited to those supporting HR, Payroll, and Facilities Management.
Provide comprehensive Tier III management of Peckham, Inc. corporate systems including hardware and operating system software, application systems software, and production specific hardware including the triage of issues and determining priorities and timelines for corrective actions.
Develop implementation plans for corporate applications. Configure and maintain the applications to ensure effective business operations.
Coordinate implementation and maintenance activities with end-users to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to end-users regarding IT systems.
Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard corporate applications and data.
Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and internal policies.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for corporate applications, including installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Monitor the performance of corporate applications and implement optimization strategies to ensure system performance meets requirements.
Work closely with business units to understand application requirements and provide solutions that align with corporate goals.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to stay informed about updates and new features. Advise business and IT leadership on application capabilities and recommend solutions to achieve customer specifications.
Coordinate and implement software updates, patches, and version upgrades in a timely manner.
Prior to implementing new releases, verify they are compatible with existing operations and business functions. Ensure that performance requirements will continue to be met.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five or more years’ experience in Information Technology.
An in depth and current knowledge, of the following technologies:
Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
Microsoft Office Application Suite
Ability to design and deliver written and graphical information for user training.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years application administration experience.
Enterprise Resource Planning or Manufacturing Resource Planning experience.
Implementation experience involving software and hardware systems.
A bachelor’s degree in information technologies or closely related field of study.
An in depth and current knowledge, of the following technologies:
