State of Michigan - Department of Treasury Financial Analyst in Lansing, Michigan
PLEASE NOTE: New Hires for the Financial Analyst classification will receive a one-time signing bonus of $2,500. The bonus will be paid out as $1,250 gross pay adjustment on the employee's first pay warrant and the remaining $1,250 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours) of satisfactory service. If the employee leaves within one year of the appointment, they will be required to pay back the entire bonus.
This position serves as the Section's financial analyst and is responsible for conducting research, analyzing financial documents, bank statements, preparing reports, making correcting entries, and preparing correspondence related to financial documents and bank statements. Prepares, reviews, and determines impact of supplemental bank and financial schedules. Utilizes system applications to analyze bank and financial accounts. Conducts research projects and examines processes to support the Office. Develops and writes procedures and documentation. Provides backup coverage for warrant reconciliation.
