Job Title: Kitting Material Coordinator

Department: Materials

Summary Provide support to the Production Department by maintaining and organizing incoming material shipments and creating operationally based kits for welding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Completes work with a safety-first mindset and follows all EH&S policies, protocols, and procedures.

  • Properly enters and maintains inventory data in Plex (location moves, merging/splitting, and control panel).

  • Properly sorts/stores incoming materials for weld operations placed in designated drop zones.

  • Knowledge of document control module.

  • Obtains proper licensing and safely operates a forklift.

  • Participates in departmental continuous improvement efforts and support/implement lean initiatives.

  • Supports the company’s mission, vision, and values in performance of daily activities.

  • Maintains a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.

  • Maintains high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, external regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Other duties as directed by management/supervisor.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
