Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Analytics, primary responsibilities will include strategy development and performance analysis to optimize portfolio results. The ideal candidate must be an innovative and strategic thinker, willing to challenge the status quo, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to communicate relevant analytical findings. They will be able to apply knowledge of the auto business and deploy good judgment when interpreting data.

The Work Itself

Perform data aggregation and analytics. Ability to work with large datasets for insights including risk trends and the measurement of strategy changes. Propose recommendations that improve analytical frameworks and performance expectations to executive leadership. Provide analytical and data support in the development of loan valuations and originations strategy to manage credit risk and identify market opportunities.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 3-5 years of consumer finance industry experience (e.g. auto, card, mortgage, etc.)
  • Practical experience working with large datasets using Snowflake, SQL, SAS, or Python
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Understanding of risk management concepts and key performance drivers within consumer lending portfolios
  • Understanding of data mining and correlation techniques
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong data-driven storytelling skills

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 70000

Experienced: 95000

Expert: 120000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
