Job Description
Intel is seeking a Tax Provision Manager to join the corporate tax team and play an integral role to drive efficiencies and standardization within our global tax provision and SOX processes.
The Intel tax team is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. This position is open to candidates across the US.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and documentation of domestic tax provision processes, including, but not limited to, return-to-provision calculations, deferred tax asset and payable proofs, and quarterly tax provision calculations.
Coordinate and maintain the Company's uncertain tax positions.
Partner with Tax Provision Director and outsourced tax providers to ensure quarterly tax accounting requirements are fulfilled.
Assume the role of SOX Cycle Lead, working among external auditors, internal auditors, and the Intel tax team members to ensure tax control processes are continually updated and functioning properly.
Assist Tax Provision Director with analyzing and documenting tax accounting implications of company initiatives.
Partner with global tax accounting teammates to ensure alignment of domestic and international processes.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in accounting required
CPA and/or MST
5+ years of experience at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm
5+ years of experience with tax provision requirements for SEC registered organizations desired.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience with global corporate tax compliance a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Proven experience with problem solving, prioritization, and process improvements.
Ability to work independently and/or cross functionally to own and drive tax provision process improvements.
Proficient with MS Excel.
Knowledge of SAP, OneSource, and/or Alteryx software a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $124,838.00-$186,832.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
