Robert Half is partnering with one of their clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Treasury Supervisor, located in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including cash disbursement, cash and investment management, bond issuance and compliance, and retirement plan investment management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise treasury activities and provide guidance to personnel.

• Ensure sufficient liquidity to cover cash commitments and manage surplus cash to maximize investment income.

• Monitor cash and investment activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Review and recommend investment policies annually.

• Support investment activities for retirement plan assets.

• Lead bond issuance activities and maintain detailed records of all bond issuance, debt service, and reserve requirements.

• Maintain positive relationships with rating agencies and investors.

• Manage Accounts Payable activities to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.

• Review and analyze vendor invoice payment issues and work with all parties to resolve.

• Support internal and external audits and company’s strategic initiatives.

• Identify and support process improvement opportunities.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Activity, Corporate Treasury, Investment Management.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a Treasury leadership role or similar

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficient in handling Cash Activity and managing cash flows.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Corporate Treasury.

• Experience in Investment Management is essential.
