Noblis Mission Systems Engineer in Las Cruces, New Mexico
Responsibilities
Noblis is program is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer with operations enterprise expertise to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services in Las Cruces, NM. The Mission Systems Engineer will support government staff to execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) activities in support of the operations enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
Work with SE&I teams to execute site system engineering process; oversee site processes used to document and manage mission system baselines to accommodate mission growth.
Engage with System Program Offices (SPO) to integrate various mission systems into a ground-based architecture; ensure the delivering organization understands site integration needs and processes.
Represent government’s interests at various forums; provide analysis and recommendations to multiple government customers.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 9+ years of experience; or Master’s in STEM field and 7+ years of experience.
Knowledge of GEOINT overall space and ground architecture.
Full system engineering life cycle expertise. Experience with architecture, CONOPS, requirements development, IV&V, integration, O&M, etc.
Technical knowledge of mission systems; familiar with space vehicle mission planning and command and control systems, ground communications, and mission data processing systems.
Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization’s needs.
Self-starter that anticipates and addresses customer requirements without supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.
Polished communicator (written/verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.
Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder.
Desired Qualifications
Real-time operations experience as a GEOINT spacecraft operator, spacecraft engineer, or ground systems operator; familiar with space operations and policies.
Familiar with government budget lifecycle and contracts management.
Familiar with Cost Analysis Management Tool (CAMT).
Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, cloud technologies, government technical standards.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $112,950.00 - USD $197,640.00 /Yr.
