Jacobs Subconsultant Project Manager in Latham, New York

We are looking for a Subconsultant Project Manager to help support our Engineering and Design project delivery for Electronics. The position is in Albany, NY but the work is global. In this role, you will be working side by side with our project, contracts, and procurement teams to execute work, build client relationships as well as pursue opportunities within Electronics. A strong commercial acumen is necessary for this role. You will assist in planning with our teams while focusing on managing commercial aspects and delivery. A focus on quality and continuous improvement is essential. The Albany office is an area of strategic growth for our Electronics division and this is an exciting time to join the team and help build our future footprint in the region.   • At least 5 years of relevant experience working in the Advanced Technology Facility market

  • At least one year of semiconductor experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on-site in Albany, NY

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified

  • Working knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles

  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden your knowledge base

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
