Mammography Technologist, PRN Various Shifts position with Sacred Heart Hospital, in Lavonia, GA
Mammography Technologist to work in the Radiology Department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia.
What you will do:
Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.
Maintains technical competency through continued education.
Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into system.
What you will need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration : Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced registry in mammography required. Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
Education : Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school
Experience: Two years mammography experience preferred. Previous experience in a dedicated breast imaging center and/or mobile mammography program is desired. Imaging center and/or mobile mammography program is desired.
