Job Description:

60% - Collaborate with Principal Investigators and key staff to design and deliver a professional learning process that results in implementation and sustainable school-level practices for resilience-building instructional efforts.

20% - Adapt professional learning materials and processes to accommodate in-person, virtual, and self-paced module options.

10% - Lead the development and delivery of administrator and instructional coach guidance, webinars, and videos that promote implementation and sustainable school-level practices for resilience-building instructional efforts.

10% - Oversee implementation and outcome data collection and reporting for state-level and local teams.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in education or a related field and 5 years of administrative experience in education.

  2. Three (3) years’ experience delivering face-to-face professional development, as evidenced by application materials.

  3. Three (3) years’ experience delivering virtual professional development, as evidenced by application materials.

  4. Experience developing professional learning for educators, as evidenced by application materials.

  5. Excellent written communication skills for a variety of audiences, as evidenced by application materials.

Advertised Salary Range:

$68,000–$78,000, full-time equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Teaching and instructional coaching experience in K–12 education.

  2. Experience developing and delivering professional development in resiliency, mental health, mindfulness, or intrapersonal competencies (e.g., self-regulation, self-efficacy).

  3. Exemplary writing skills, with experience using APA style.

  4. Experience utilizing Zoom and Moodle to facilitate collaboration and online learning.

  5. Exemplary data collection and interpretation skills, including the use of formulas and logic with Microsoft Excel, Qualtrics, and/or Google Sheets.

Position Overview:

Are you an instructional leader who would like to focus on building the capacity of administrators, instructional coaches, and educators to enhance students’ intrapersonal and interpersonal skills? This position will partner with the Principal Investigators, project staff, school administrators, and instructional coaches to design, deliver, and evaluate a professional learning process that results in sustainable school-level practices for resilience-building instructional efforts. This position will design the professional learning series to accommodate in-person, virtual, and self-paced module options and will oversee the development of administrator and instructional coach guidance, webinars, and videos. This is a grant-funded position with continued employment contingent upon funding. The scope of work is expected to be a half-time position with initial development requiring a higher FTE (up to 75%).

Position Requirements:

  1. Work virtually with high-speed internet access capable of maintaining up to six hours of cameras-on training via Zoom in a day.

  2. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the U.S. in vehicles and airplanes. It is anticipated that travel may include up to four nights in a row on a quarterly basis with driving distances up to six hours.
