Responsibilities

You will maintain, repair, and install industrial doors and loading dock equipment. Service Technician will receive a take home service truck. Jobs will be assigned and technicians dispatch from home. Occasional Office visits are required for parts and meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and adjust industrial doors and loading dock equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

• Perform routine preventative maintenance

• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial doors, garage doors, and/or loading dock equipment

• mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment

• Ability to handle physical workload

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Dock seal (3 years of experience is preferred)

• dock leveler (3 years of experience is preferred)

• dock restrains (3 years of experience is preferred)

• repair loading dock equipment (3 years of experience is preferred)

• installation (3 years of experience is preferred)

• field service (3 years of experience is preferred)
