North Davis Preparatory Academy, a K-9 charter school located in Layton, Utah, is looking for a hard-working person who loves to have fun working with a great team of coworkers and some pretty amazing students. Opportunity to feed our youth, work in a friendly environment, and have a free lunch.
Job responsibilities include Food preparation, serving the students and cleaning up after. Our staff make friends, get to contribute to the growth and development of young minds, and get to meet some pretty amazing students.
Schedules range from 3-3.9 hrs. for this position. Starting around 10:30-11 and ending 1:30-2:00. On early start days this may be 30 to 60 minutes earlier. Scheduled early out days are Fridays and then some pre-holiday and Parent teacher days. We have our 2024- 2025 School Calendar posted on our site so you can see what days we will be off due to Holidays and other School prep days. Summer off. Opportunities for stay and return stipends are given along with Bonuses and E2L and professional development.
North Davis Preparatory Academy is Utah's first International Spanish Academy. Every NDPA student studies Spanish and experiences learning with international teachers. NDPA has more teachers from Spain than any other school in the United States and Canada. Job Requirements:
Get along well with others, positive attitude. Like Children! Ability to lift 40 + lbs. Be on your feet lifting bending and moving the entre shift. Have a Food Handlers or Serve Safe Certification Ability to clean equipment work surfaces, mop, wipe tables etc. Flexible in working with different teams at both sites. Once trained be able to work independently. Not afraid to ask questions. There are many things to learn so exciting but need to feel comfortable asking for guidance and understanding good communication skills are necessary! Computer skills a plus Basic understanding of food preparation helpful. Will be trained on the job on regulations and requirements. Will have at least 4 trainings throughout the year to help with regulations and to complete continuous education hours. Flexible and adaptable. Willing to work days scheduled. Pass a background check. Able to attend first training that will be held on August 7, 2024
