ManpowerGroup Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician in Lebanon, Indiana

I’m a Recruiter with Manpower Engineering and we are seeking a Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician to join our Lebanon, IN client’s manufacturing team. Direct/perm position on day shift, Monday-Friday. Military Veterans encouraged to apply

Day-to-day activities include:

  • Manufacture, assemble, and repair multiple types of support equipment

  • Applying principles of pneumatics, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Embrace lean manufacturing

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, meeting customer deadlines

  • Support equipment fleet maintenance: identify repairs required, analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action

  • Troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment: plumbing equipment, trailers, electrical motors, hydraulic systems, electrical systems

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or schematics

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned or required to support manufacturing operations: inventory, clean-up, testing, procurement, engineering

What is Required to be Successful in This Position

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Military veterans encouraged to apply

  • Experience focused on trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, etc.

  • Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and able to lift 50lbs

  • Experience in the following: electrical systems, assembly, and manufacturing

  • Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments

  • Willing and able to follow required policies (i.e., DOT, FAA, Drug Testing, etc. as required)

  • This role requires someone to truly think outside the box when determining what should be customized for the job at hand. Someone with experience in several different skill sets spanning a few different fields including mechanical work, electrical work, engineering, and manufacturing.

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred. Even someone with 15 years of experience will find challenges and satisfaction with this unique position.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Machine operation experience preferred but not necessary, employee should be willing to develop skills in necessary areas required for advancing on the job.

  • Mechanical apprenticeship in the craft or equivalent training at a trade, technical school, and/or military training equivalent
