Job Summary:
The Plant Manager will plan and oversee the daily manufacturing of the Fecon Attachment Facility. This person will drive processes to proactively ensure schedule adherence and the coordination relevant activities that are critical to achieve success. The position will implement lean shop floor management tools, conduct lean training, and the overall development of a mature lean operation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Creates and implements a safety-first culture by use of a 6S Program and other safety programs.
Implements lean shop floor management methodologies.
Ensures staffing levels are at expected levels to meet SIOP commitments.
Builds problem solving culture through the use of the PDCA Process.
Communicates operational needs and issues effectively through the company.
Develops SQDC Boards that effectively communicate results and actions to improve.
Leads, facilitates, or identifies critical kaizen activities.
Develops processes to increase productivity and enhance performance.
Ensures that all necessary standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are being followed within the facility.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Development of Lean Shop Floor Management Tools.
Demonstrated ability to proactively drive schedule adherence.
Ability to quickly make decisions due to changing priorities and or changes.
Strong root cause analysis skills.
Confidently able to communicate both verbally and written.
Ability to develop reports or KPI’s effectively communicating interpreting or communicating results.
Enforcement of all related HR Policies and Procedures.
Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a like role
Experience with OSHA Safety Standards and adherence
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with a MRP System
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for periods of time while performing tasks
Ability to lift 15 lbs.

This is a first shift position. Hours for this position are 8:00am - 5:00p, Monday-Friday.
