Permobil, Inc. Warehouse Lead (Production Support) in Lebanon, Tennessee
Key Duties:
- Serve as a resource for Production Support to ensure areas within the department and able to perform assigned duties, achieve daily targets and foster teamwork
- Build relationships with Leads and Supervisors to maintain excellent customer service levels
- Conduct on the job training of team members through SOP's, standard work and 5S
- Responsive and professional communicating via a 2-way radio
- Investigates and addresses process deviations and material discrepancies
- Respond quickly and appropriately when there is an inventory variance; including responding to Redlines, reconciling bin locations, verifying origin of variance
- Works closely with the Industrial Engineering and Inventory Control departments regarding production improvements, picking efficiency, staging, and storing of material, app recommendations etc.
- Adhere to all ISO and FDA procedures and standards
- Practice and ensure a safe working environment in accordance to PINC standards
- Fulfil operator duties for Production Support team when additional capacity is needed
- Support and drive continuous improvements
- Ability to communicate objectives and request effectively via email
- Create, investigate, resolve, and trend Non-Conforming Reports (NCR's)
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skill:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as constant professionalism
Experience Required:
- Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with people to foster a productive team
- Be one that is viewed as leading by example
- Good attendance is a must
