Job Function: To run all assigned scheduled jobs as instructed and required according to the job description of 'Former'.
Essential Functions:
1. Receives routings, prints, and work orders for jobs from Forming Group Leader.
2. Fabricates all pipe, tubing and rod formed parts.
3. Assist when requested to develop new parts/prototypes as required by customers. Establish exact process parameters, production capability and set up all new jobs and requirements when performing this task.
4. Process Control are not to be changed unless approved by quality or production related management.
5. Provides quality assurance within the entire department at all times.
6. Reduces the overall defective parts ratio and usage/scrap and waste within the department.
7. Assists the Forming Group Leader to insuring that the existing team members are achieving daily rates and expected part quality and consistency.
8. Promotes superior personal conduct, attendance, appearance and attitude in order to set an example.
9. Keeps equipment and departmental work area clean and orderly.
Additional responsibilities:
Provide additional production support to other departments as needed.
