Farmer's Creekside Tavern & Inn Server in LeRoy, New York
Farmer's Creekside Tavern and Inn is an upscale restaurant located on Oatka Creek in Le Roy, NY. It is a multi-level facility with three floors of dining space - for restaurant use and private events.
Creekside is looking to hire additional Front of House staff in both Server and Bartender roles!
Servers responsible to maintain designated and rotating sections within the dining room by greeting guests, taking orders and delivering food. Bartenders are responsible for guests seated within the indoor/ outdoor bar areas as well as complete service tickets or craft event drinks.
Front of House Staff are expected to provide excellent customer service to guests and work within a fast-paced environment. Menu trainings are held seasonally with the expectation that all staff is fluent on food and beverage offerings.
Front of House employees can be cross-trained to work within multiple settings to promote efficient staffing and optimal coverage. Depending on experience, Front of House Staff can work in the restaurant, for private events or behind the bar. Staff may also work in support staff positions (busser/ runner) if coverage is needed.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain designated section within the restaurant. Provide excellent customer service for guests throughout the dining experience. Familiarity with PIXEL Point of Sales: accuracy of order taking, payment processing, cash handling Maintain a clean and organized work environment: setting/ clearing tables, completing side work, arranging lay-outs for private events Communicate effectively with team members Understand/ Execute Banquet Event Orders and follow direct from Event Coordinator Other duties, as assigned Qualifications/ Preferences
2-3 years serving experience, preferably within an upscale or fine dining establishment Bartending knowledge/ experience is preferred Reliable transportation Evening, Weekend, Holiday and Sunday availability General knowledge of wines, spirits and beers Farmer's Creekside is currently open for Dinner service from Thursday to Saturday, 4-9PM. Private events and restaurant-wide functions vary, based on booking dates.
