As the Director of Data Analytics, you will lead our highly skilled team of data analysts responsible for delivering a comprehensive Client Rebate Reporting analytics strategy. Your strategic vision will guide the development and enhancements to industry leading solutions such as the Rebate Hub, benefiting both OptumRx clients and members. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering innovative data analytics solutions / products to enhance our pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services.

Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Data Analytics:
• Lead and mentor a team of Principal and Senior Data Analysts.
• Oversee the ongoing evolution of the Rebate Hub that leads the market in terms of innovation and data driven client rebate insights.
• Act as a consultant to business units, understanding their challenges, the business, and delivering analytics to support long-term data-driven strategies.
• Identify opportunities to drive incremental rebate revenue.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage resource allocation and project prioritization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders within the organization.
• Communicate complex analytical outcomes and strategic insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and scalable solutions by collaborating effectively with IT and business partners
• Lead the team in rapid prototyping, testing, and iterating on new insights to support dynamic business needs.

Required Qualifications of the Director of Data Analytics:
• Proven track record of leading data analytics teams and projects, preferably in a healthcare and/or in PBM business.
• Prior experience in a consulting or strategic advisory roles.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, data visualization tools.
• Understanding of product development, strategy, sales, marketing.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts and insights to stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications of the Director of Data Analytics:
• Degree in a discipline with a strong analytical focus such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Proficiency with Databricks, cloud technology
• Experience in deploying AI/ML solutions in a healthcare setting that have delivered measurable business impact.
