As a Senior Project Manager – Data Analytics Model Governance , you will help establish a new analytics governance function including an overall engagement model, growth strategy, standards and frameworks. Some existing governance structures are in place but there will be specific requirements for working with data science teams across the Data Strategy and Analytics departments, as well as other business units. Your capacity to bring stakeholders together and align them to a shared vision will be critical to the success of a best-in-class approach to scalable and reusable analytics models to enable continued business growth.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of a new analytics model governance function, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with legal requirements
Collaborate with data analytics and data science teams to support their analytic model development, standards / frameworks, documentation approaches
Engage with stakeholders to understand their business priorities, and to provide updates on risks, dependencies, and delivery
Work closely with teams focused on data governance and security requirements
Facilitate a governance subcommittee, to ensure continued progress on key objectives and milestones
Implement change management processes to foster adoption of new standards and guidelines
Provide user-friendly documentation, including user guides
Monitor and communicate the outputs, impact, and value proposition of the new function
Required Qualifications:
BA or BSc degree or equivalent experience
Experience working in adoption of new ways of working, business transformation, culture change management, user training, or related functions
Developed project management approach with portfolio of documentation and process practices
Experience facilitating large workgroups
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with concepts and methods in data science and data modelling
Basic proficiency with Python, SQL, or another coding language
Experience with content management tools such as Confluence
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
