Career Opportunity
The Lewisburg location is seeking a Corrugating Operator who is responsible for inspecting, marking, and transfer of corrugated sheets to the sheet line or converting areas.
How you will impact WestRock
Perform quality checks and analyze the necessary movement of the material.
Ensure material flow is constant and efficient.
Perform basic math skills
Use of a calculator and tape measure is vital.
Responsible for the operation of the corrugating equipment
Performs other job duties as assigned
What you need to succeed.
High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, average and use a calculator.
Must be able to add and subtract fractions.
Must be able to read a tape ruler measuring in 16th of an inch.
The technician must be familiar with operation of the rotary shear knife, anti-skid applicator, slitter/scorer, and cutoff knife.
A strong commitment to working safe.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery.
Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
