Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized and compassionate R.N. to join our community-based Neurorehabilitation Clinical team. The right person for this role is passionate about medical support and enthusiastic about education, on-site training, and fostering excellence in patient care. Responsibilities include:
Provide clinical guidance to healthcare professionals in a specialized field.
Assist in developing and evaluating care plans for complex health needs.
Collaborate with service recipients and the healthcare team in treatment planning.
Offer health promotion and preventative support to clients.
Foster seamless care coordination and information exchange as a liaison.
Perform regular client assessments and adapt care plans accordingly.
Provide on-site training and support to address medical needs.
Ensure high-quality patient care for clients with challenging behaviors.
Contribute to Quality Improvement and accreditation processes.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, as well as problem-solving skills.
Deliver clinical education and hands-on training in complex healthcare issues.
Exhibit dedication to community integration, independence, and consumer participation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current State of Maine Registered Nurse License
Basic American Red Cross Adult CPR certification or equivalent
3-5 years of relevant training experience
Demonstrated ability to develop learning objectives and curriculum for training
Knowledge of adult learning theory and styles
Prior experience presenting to groups of up to 25 people
Proficiency in PC usage (email, Internet, and Microsoft Office) and AV equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Completion of Maine’s CRMA “Train the Trainer” course
CPR and First Aid licensed Instructor
