Job Summary:

We seek a highly organized and compassionate R.N. to join our community-based Neurorehabilitation Clinical team. The right person for this role is passionate about medical support and enthusiastic about education, on-site training, and fostering excellence in patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Provide clinical guidance to healthcare professionals in a specialized field.

• Assist in developing and evaluating care plans for complex health needs.

• Collaborate with service recipients and the healthcare team in treatment planning.

• Offer health promotion and preventative support to clients.

• Foster seamless care coordination and information exchange as a liaison.

• Perform regular client assessments and adapt care plans accordingly.

• Provide on-site training and support to address medical needs.

• Ensure high-quality patient care for clients with challenging behaviors.

• Contribute to Quality Improvement and accreditation processes.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, as well as problem-solving skills.

• Deliver clinical education and hands-on training in complex healthcare issues.

• Exhibit dedication to community integration, independence, and consumer participation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current State of Maine Registered Nurse License

• Basic American Red Cross Adult CPR certification or equivalent

• 3-5 years of relevant training experience

• Demonstrated ability to develop learning objectives and curriculum for training

• Knowledge of adult learning theory and styles

• Prior experience presenting to groups of up to 25 people

• Proficiency in PC usage (email, Internet, and Microsoft Office) and AV equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Completion of Maine’s CRMA “Train the Trainer” course

• CPR and First Aid licensed Instructor
