TITLE: Logistics Manager 087A - POSITION OBJECTIVE: Coordinate logistics for Trinity outsourced products, both domestic and international. Manage container scheduling and unloading, and review unloading efficiencies. QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience:5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and Implement Strategies: Create distribution strategies to optimize logistics operations. Team Leadership: Manage and lead warehouse and distribution staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of goods. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze distribution performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee stock control processes. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with sales and production to align distribution strategies with business goals. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the distribution budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Audit and Analysis: Conduct regular inventory audits and analyze warehouse performance metrics for improvement. Container Scheduling: Manage container scheduling and order supplies for damaged imported products. Receiving and Transfers: Oversee container receiving and coordinate material transfers to IBS, Lolita, TX, and Haremar, Vaughan, ON. Warehouse Oversight: Manage all outside warehouses and facilitate the transfer of products from Belleville to shipping warehouses. Complaint Management: Address plant-level complaint reports. Additional Duties: Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager. WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour Subject to loud noises Hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, debris, chemicals, gases TRAINING: Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations. cGMP's and SOP's. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Stooping/Bending Kneeling Reaching Standing for long periods of time Grasping Getting on/off forklift
