Atterro Commercial Maintenance Technician in Lexington, Kentucky

Advantage xPO is hiring a new Commercial Maintenance Technician with at least three years of commercial experience. Does this sound like you? Keep reading to learn more!
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday (night and weekend availability is required).
Pay: $24 - $28/hr.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care (preferred).
- 3+ years of commercial experience including electrical plumbing, and carpentry.
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, writing, communication, mechanical, troubleshooting, time management, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc).
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel locally.
Commercial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs as per work orders, ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulations. Duties include minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance, such as unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and painting or drywall repairs. The position also requires completing service and asset inspections, using technology for work orders, service reports, and time tracking. The individual will manage materials, maintain positive client relationships, provide project estimates, and attend safety training and meetings.
