Eliot Community Human Services Community Outreach Coordinator in Lexington, Massachusetts
Description
MSPCC, a division of Eliot CHS, is currently seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator. Our ideal person would have outreach and community based leadership experience and state level policy development or advocacy and a passion for social justice, principles of inclusion, health equity, and diversity-informed care in general, and child welfare or access to mental healthcare in particular.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team, with compassion, and curiosity utilizing active listening skills, and open-mindedness.
Excellent verbal and written English skills are necessary.
Bilingual and bicultural skills are a plus.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule contingent upon program needs.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work and for community outings.
Responsibilities:
Steward and manage new and existing relationships with collaborative community partners; develop and define outreach target plans and engagement strategies.
Prepare and manage data on community outreach goals and outcomes.
Conduct outreach presentations in the community to create general awareness of MSPCC and Eliot’s work in the community.
Assist with inventory management (solicitation/collection/distribution etc.) at programs.
In partnership with MSPCC’s Marketing Team, develop partner highlights, recognition, and visibility for marketing materials and social media.
Develop and implement projects/volunteer activities for MSPCC’s individual volunteer inquiries
Maintain a calendar of activities with volunteer engagement, including on-site activities at programs, community events, info sessions, donation solicitation efforts, and other outward facing opportunities to support the engagement of community organizations.
Assist with Corporate Volunteer Events, as well as, the planning, coordination, and execution of program events
Assist with management of Development’s major annual fundraising events.
Obtain and maintain all required trainings. Ensure that all required certifications are current and provide required documentation to the Agency.
Salary: $52,000 annual
Location: Hybrid with routine travel to Marlborough and Revere.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm
