Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. CRM Business Partner in Lexington, Massachusetts

The CRM Business Partner is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellence within the Veeva Customer Relationship Management system and related applications, systems, and processes. This includes, not limited to, Javelin Roster Manager, Informatica Master Data Management integration, Veeva Vault, etc..

This role will be responsible for the development, launch and continued improvement of Veeva CRM for respective business units. The position requires significant skill and experience in creating accurate, complete requirements under tight deadline constraints. New product launch experience in the Life Sciences industry is particularly valuable, as well as the ability to act as a liaison between key business stakeholders, the IT implementation team, and other integrated stakeholder groups (MDM, Data Management, Marketing, Compliance, and Sales Reporting). The role requires the ability to capture, and transform complex requirements into value add business (system and process) capabilities. This is primarily a business-facing (and user-facing) role, requiring the ability to build strong relationships and speak "business" and "technology" to the appropriate audiences (including sales reps and their managers). The ideal candidate will need the ability to identify gaps, know when to leverage technical expertise for execution, and focus on achieving functional goals.

Activities both before, during and after the launch include the identification of enhancement and fix opportunities, writing of detailed functional requirements, coordination of technical requirements development, writing and execution of detailed User Acceptance Testing scripts (including testing of validated systems), and support during the rollout. The role will create documentation and training materials, and will conduct training for new hires, launches, and releases as needed.

This role will be the primary escalation point and SME for issues and questions with Veeva CRM and related technologies, and will be expected to develop deep knowledge and expertise of the system in order to answer questions, provide support, and ensure quality and adoption of CRM. The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside processes and teams currently using Veeva CRM to prevent impacts to existing users, and will document all new changes and communicate them accordingly. Strong written and oral communications skills are a must, as is the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests at once under and extremely aggressive timeline.

Education and Experience Requirements: An undergraduate degree from an accredited university 5+ years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies: The individual must be self-motivated, a team player, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to manage simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on business criticality/needs, in a demanding environment. Experience with the Veeva CRM system (Veeva certification a plus) or minimally (SFDC certification also a plus) Exposure to Javelin Roster Manager, Veeva Vault, Informatica, or similar systems Expertise writing detailed functional requirements and helping to refine technical requirements Expertise in software project management, from demand management to delivery to support Excellent written and oral communication skills and comfort presenting to and leading discussions with stakeholders Ability to influence without formal authority. Ability to effectively interact with senior leadership. Strong sense of urgency Strong analytical skills

Complexity and Problem Solving: Understanding of internal Takeda functions to enable support of those functions who use CRM, including Field Sales, Training, IT, Marketing, and other areas within Commercial CoE. Decisions will mean the difference between a successful launch of a new product/BU and an inadequate and unprepared sales force. Design decisions will be made in a team environment, involving representation from Sales Operations, IT and the Field Force.

Internal and External Contacts: Highly collaborative and influential role interacting with senior management and stakeholders from the BUs, Sales Force Effectiveness counterparts, Sales Leadership, Global Commercial Operations, Global Data Management Peers, Commercial Technology Team (IT), consultants & vendors, etc.

Other Job Requirements: 5-10% domestic and/or international travel may be required, such as attendance at field launch meetings. Duties may sometimes call for early or late meetings and/or attendance to meetings on holidays and weekends.
