Job Description This position will oversee and manage payroll processing and time keeping, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and wage laws, and supervise and train payroll staff. You will also help with benefits administration, 401K contributions, and month/year-end analysis and reconciliation reports. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with local, multi-state, federal government regulations, and company guidelines. Expected to stay up to date on wage and hour changes and make updates where required. Implement process improvements to automate and reduce costs and strengthen internal controls. Helps to facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Supervise & train payroll staff. What you bring: Strong working knowledge of payroll wage and hour laws including but not limited to FLSA regulations, third party sick pay, taxable fringe benefits, and relocation. Excellent math skills coupled with strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support the department\'s goals and vision. Effectively allocates time and resources to meet project/task deadlines. Self-Learner - ability to learn and retain new systems and processes quickly. Qualifications What we\'re looking for: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting CPP - Certified Payroll Professional preferred 7+ years of experience in a human resources or payroll operations 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity 5+ years of experience with ADP Work Force Now 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
