FMS Logistics Manager
KBR is seeking an FMS Logistics Manager to join our team. As a part of one of the world’s largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.
As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
A nalyze, coordinate, provide recommendations, and implements international program logistics requirements for integrated product support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle, including business development, case development, case implementation, and case closure.
Responsible for the oversight and management of complex FMS program efforts.
Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel will be required in support of logistics activities.
The successful candidate will provide Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Life cycle sustainment and logistics support services covers all phases of the acquisition life cycle, including new program logistics support, sustainment and disposal. Candidates shall have familiarity with the 12 IPS elements which are:
Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience in re lated logistical, program management, technical, or business analysis field. 13 years of related work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Prior experience providing recommendations and implement international program logistics requirements for integrated product support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle, including business development, case development, case implementation, and case closure.
An active secret level security clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Must be able to travel as required for role.
Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
