Description

The Electronics Manager will be responsible for overseeing electronic component manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, managing production schedules, and leading a team of electronics technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight: Support the electronic component manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that electronic components meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize product quality.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of electronics technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electronic manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules for electronic manufacturing equipment, coordinating repairs and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control measures, and equipment maintenance, and generate regular reports for management review.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic component manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and manufacturing software systems.

  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.

We are committed to providing a competitive and fair total compensation package for all employees.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining us, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range. We recognize that the person(s) we select for hire may be less experienced or more experienced than the role as posted; if this is the case, any updates to available salary ranges will be communicated with candidates during the recruitment process.
