What you’ll do :

The Activities Coordinator will be in charge of planning and facilitating group activities. You would be facilitating team sports activities, skills-based groups, as well as outdoor activities to include but not limited to hiking, fishing, and adventure/ropes courses. You will be responsible for providing coordination, structure, and accountability to both on-site and off-grounds activities. During the summer months our activities coordinator would have to take part in being a certified lifeguard for our on-campus pool. When needed you would have to be willing to assist in supervision of children within the cottages. This position reports to the Director of Group Living.

The schedule for our Activities Coordinator will be Tuesday through Saturday 11am-7pm.

Minimum requirements:

·High school Diploma required. Associates degree or Bachelors degree in related field preferred.

·1 year of activities coordinator experience.

·6 months experience working with children (paid or volunteer).

·Be at least 21 years of age.

To be considered, you should :

· Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain certification.

· Ropes course - Adventure course certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

· Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

· Have a desire to work with youth.

· Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

· Saturdays required.
