Job Title: Mold Tech

Job Description

Candidate will be working from blueprints to build, repair, and PM fixtures used for holding tempered glass. You will use manual mills, lathes, CNC's, HAAS CNC, and welders. Tolerances are tight, so attention to detail is critical. The position will require some MIG/TIG welding and fabrication. Blueprints serve as a guideline, but some troubleshooting and technical thought are needed to make the dies work properly. When not working on the 350-400 fixture PM program, you will partner with the Maintenance crew to help get production equipment up and running. You might be expected to machine parts from scratch to resolve issues.

Shift: 3rd Shift (10 pm-6:30 am).

Pay: $20 - $28 to start (based on experience and how interview goes)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LIGONIER, Indiana.

Work Environment

Expect to work a flat 40 hours a week with optional overtime. Every 5th weekend of the month, you will work Saturday and Sunday but can pick two days in the preceding week to take off.

Environment: The facility tempers and forms glass for different types of windshields. There are ovens in the plant, so parts of the facility can reach up to 110 degrees. The facility is extremely clean with minimal dirt.
