The Lima Family YMCA in Lima, OH is seeking Housekeeping Staff to join our team.
We are looking for applicants that can work the following (approximately 20 hours per week):
- Monday - Thursday, 9pm -- 12:30am
- Friday, 9am -- 1pm; or 8pm -- 11:30pm
- Saturday, 5pm -- 8:30pm
- Sunday, 5pm -- 8:30pm
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
General Function:
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping staff is responsible for the upkeep and general appearance of the entire building including locker rooms and related areas.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be capable of doing the physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation to attend work
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
- Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA

Specific Responsibilities:
- Along with staff members, responsible for keeping areas organized, equipment clean, and reports all damage and equipment failures to housekeeping supervisor
- Deep cleans locker room areas including showers, toilets, sinks, lockers and floors
- Setting up tables and chairs for rentals
- Maintains a clean and bright facility appearance by stocking paper goods and emptying waste containers
- Performs routine inspections of facilities as a means of preventative maintenance
- Applying salt and clearing sidewalks during inclement weather
