We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Microbiology Analyst to join our dynamic team in Limerick, Ireland. As a key member of our laboratory, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality microbiology and chemistry testing services to our clients.
Perform wet chemistry and microbiology testing with precision and accuracy
Conduct tests on Biological Indicators, Bioburden, Endotoxin, pH, Conductivity Nitrates, and Total Organic Carbon
Execute microbiological plate reading and streaking techniques
Carry out sampling and testing for environmental monitoring
Report and investigate anomalous or quality-related events, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Collaborate with team members to maintain a high-performing, customer-focused laboratory environment
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and project work to enhance laboratory processes
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all testing procedures and results
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience working in a Microbiology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry laboratory
Strong knowledge and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Proficiency in microbiology testing techniques and wet chemistry methods
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong documentation and data recording abilities
Demonstrated experience in maintaining laboratory safety standards
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Passion for quality and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Flexibility to adapt to changeable working patterns and available to work shift work
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to investigate anomalies
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in data analysis
