approximately 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs just under 400+ full
time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along
with 12,000 skus. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging
activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business.

Job Description
Support the Stamping and Grinding operation of a production line in the existing Lincolnton, NC facility.
Understanding of creep feed grinding.
Basic CNC programming knowledge.
Basic understanding of macro programming.
Targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs.
Actively communicate with the related departments (Planning,Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, etc.) to reach the daily targets and escalate in case of deviations.
Train and monitor new production associates working on the specified shift and provide timely and effective feedback when required.
Will be responsible to maintain equipment and perform minor unplanned maintenance as required.
Able to use hand tools.
Ability to troubleshoot creep grinding process.
Basic understanding belt type filtration systems
Basic understanding of hydraulic systems.
Drive for continuous improvement.
Ability to run a surface grinder.
Understanding/Use of measurement tools.
Understanding of LOTO procedure and requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot stamping process
Able to use crane.
Able to drive a fork lift
Understanding of stamping die, cutting clearance and assembly requirements.
Ability to calculate shim requirements for stamping dies
Basic understanding of electro mechanical press
Able to use PC based machines.
5S understanding
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical or Vocation Schooling a plus.
3 to 5 years previous experience in Machining Processes (Stamping, Milling, Turning, Grinding, etc.)
Experience using Microsoft Office Software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Communication Skill Set including oral, written and interpersonal with all elements of workforce.
Ability to learn new processes and technology.
Experience in leading a team.
